Made for the remote. Ready for the sofa.

A native Android TV and Google TV player for your own live channels, movies and series. A big-screen experience, not a desktop interface stretched onto a television.

On TV. Currently in testing.

TiviTune for Android TV is in Google Play internal testing. A public Google Play download is not available yet. Contact support to ask about testing; access is not guaranteed and no release date is promised.

The Android TV app is designed to be free, without app subscriptions or feature paywalls. Your content provider may charge separately. No channels, films, subscriptions or provider accounts are included.

Find your next watch from the sofa.

Use your remote’s directional pad, OK and Back to move between Live TV, Movies, Series, Search, My list and Settings. Save favorites and return to recently watched items without a keyboard or mouse.

The native Media3 player supports channel changes, supplied audio and subtitle tracks, supported on-demand seeking and resume. Keep video playing inside the app while you browse. This is not Android system picture-in-picture.

A guide that keeps the picture in view.

Read now-and-next programmes and the XMLTV timeline while keeping the current live picture in view. Match a channel to saved guide data and adjust programme times when a feed needs correcting.

Catch-up and Watch from start work with supported archives declared by an Xtream provider. Programme information and archive availability come from your source. TiviTune does not record live television or create a timeshift buffer.

Bring your source. Find your favorites.

Once you have testing access, install TiviTune on a compatible Android TV or Google TV device. The current app targets Android 8.0 (API 26) or later; compatibility still depends on your device, source and format.

On first launch, choose Xtream account or Playlist link. Enter your own authorized source, review the import result and choose Start watching. M3U/M3U8 links provide live channels; Xtream supplies typed live, movie and series catalogues. Local playlist-file import is a Windows feature.

A live Xtream source can automatically supply its XMLTV guide while the app is open. Artwork is initially enabled and can be turned off. Automatic playlist updates are optional; choose Off, 6, 12 or 24 hours.

The right expectations, before you install.

Current TV features include search, favorites, viewing history, on-demand resume, guide matching, source management and in-app video while browsing. Windows collections, encrypted backup/restore, external metadata services and diagnostic export are not yet available on Android TV.

There is no cloud sync, recording/DVR, multiview, phone remote or DRM bypass. Setting up the same source on your PC and TV does not sync favorites or viewing progress. English is the current production interface; the Windows app’s eight languages are not an Android TV availability claim.

Android phone and tablet apps are planned for the future. They are not currently available. The TV app is not offered as a phone or tablet app.

Your next great watch starts with your space.

A little less clutter. A little more comfort. Your library, the TiviTune way.
