Your data. Your decision.
TiviTune does not create a TiviTune account or keep your library on an app server. Most deletion happens on your device. A provider login is a separate account and cannot be deleted by TiviTune.

Clear viewing history without removing playlists
On Android TV, open Settings > Viewing history. On Windows, open Settings and find Viewing history in Library & privacy. Pause history to stop new entries, remove individual entries, or use the confirmed clear-history action to remove recent views and resume points.
Pausing history does not erase existing entries. Clearing history removes viewing records, not playlists or favorites. History is limited to 200 recent items and is not uploaded to us.
Remove one source
Open Settings > Playlists on Android TV, or the playlist manager on Windows. Select the playlist and confirm Remove. This removes that source’s local library and associated personal state. Repeat for other sources you no longer need.
Removing a playlist does not cancel a provider subscription, close its account or erase its request logs. Contact your provider for those actions. Separately saved guides or exported files may need their own removal.
Delete all Android TV app data
Before proceeding, make sure you can enter your source details again: Android TV backup/restore is not currently available. Open your TV’s system Settings > Apps > TiviTune > Clear data or Clear storage and confirm. The exact wording varies by manufacturer. Clearing only the cache is not the same as clearing app data.
This resets the app’s local library, source credentials, favorites, guide, history and preferences. Uninstalling normally removes the app’s private data as well. It does not delete information held by Google Play or your providers.
If the older TiviCove Android app is still installed, it is a separate application with separate storage. Clearing TiviTune does not clear that old installation. Manage it separately if you no longer need its data.
Delete all Windows app data
If you want to retain a copy, first use the app’s password-protected backup feature. In Windows Settings, find Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & features) > TiviTune or TiviCove > Advanced options > Reset, then confirm. Reset removes app-managed data; Repair is not the same action.
Check separately for .tvcbackup files, exported diagnostic reports, original playlists, and any library files preserved through recovery or manually copied elsewhere. App reset or uninstall is not a promise that these separate copies are deleted.
Remove website preferences and copies
Use your browser’s clear-site-data controls for tivitune.com and, if you used the previous website, tivicove.com. This removes saved language preferences. Session-only language-suggestion choices expire with the browser session.
Delete unwanted backups and exported files from their actual saved locations. If you copied them to cloud storage or another device, remove those copies there too. Deletion cannot guarantee forensic erasure from storage media or another service’s backups.
Ask us to delete information you sent us
Email privacy@tivitune.com from the address you used for support, with the subject “TiviTune data deletion”. Identify the correspondence you want removed. Do not attach your library, passwords, backup files or private source addresses.
This request covers support messages and related personal information we hold, not device-only data we cannot access. We may need proportionate verification and will explain any information we must retain for applicable legal, security or dispute-resolution purposes. There is no TiviTune account to deactivate or subscription to cancel.
You can also ask the privacy contact about access, correction and other rights. Use the app-store or provider’s own privacy process for information those services hold.
