Terms of use

These terms describe use of the TiviTune website and player. App-store license terms and mandatory consumer protections also apply where relevant.

1. A player, not a content provider

TiviTune is software for organizing and playing sources you supply. It does not sell or supply channels, films, playlists, provider subscriptions or rights to content. Demonstration images and video on this website are not included subscriptions or promises of available programming.

Use only sources and content you are authorized to access. You are responsible for your provider agreements, fees, connection limits and applicable copyright law. Do not use TiviTune to bypass DRM or access restrictions, distribute unauthorized content or misuse another person’s credentials.

2. Features, availability and updates

Windows and Android TV are separate native apps with different feature sets. The Windows Store listing may retain the previous TiviCove name during rebranding. Android TV is currently in internal testing; phone and tablet apps are future plans, not current products.

Availability and requirements depend on your app store, region, device and version. Public roadmap statements are not delivery dates or commitments. Updates may change features; store terms govern installation and updates. No universal codec, HDR, device, provider or uninterrupted-playback compatibility is promised.

3. Third-party sources and services

Your providers control their content, availability, guide data, artwork, archives and account terms. External metadata services and app stores have their own terms and privacy policies. Links do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Any app price shown by a store is separate from provider fees. The Android TV app is intended to have no app subscription or feature paywall. We do not sell provider access through this website.

4. Your data and device

Keep your source credentials, device and backup passwords secure. Where supported, make a backup before replacing or resetting a library. Local app data does not synchronize between devices. We cannot recover forgotten backup passwords or a library held only on your device.

The privacy policy explains local storage, network requests, optional services, website information and deletion choices. Contact support using safe diagnostic information rather than private credentials or copyrighted media.

5. Software and website materials

TiviTune branding, original website materials and product software remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party media and components retain their own licenses; see Media & credits for website attributions and the app’s notices for software components.

These website terms do not grant an open-source license to the product or rights to content from a provider. Any app license supplied through the relevant store continues to apply.

6. Service limitations and your rights

The player depends on third-party sources, networks and device capabilities outside our control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided without a guarantee that every source will work or remain available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

For a problem with the player, contact support@tivitune.com. For provider billing or content access, contact that provider. App-store purchases and refunds, if applicable, follow the store’s process and your statutory rights.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, apps or legal requirements, with a revised date on this page. Any further notice required by law will apply. These terms do not select a jurisdiction or remove rights you have under applicable law.
